Good news for patients of asthma and other lung problems. Asoka Welfare Society, a welfare organization under the umbrella of Asoka Lifescience Limited has opened an SMS domain that doubles up as a helpline for people suffering from respiratory distress. Our research shows that many people just don’t realize they’ve got asthma when the primary symptoms show up. They are dismissed as ordinary cough and cold, blocked nose, or even fatigue due to stress. Hardly do many people understand it’s something that requires professional medical consultation, and subsequent medication for proper disease management.

Asoka Welfare Society has opened up this unique helpline where all a person has to do is just send an SMS to a particular number. Our representative at the helpline will call the person and answer his/her queries on asthma and other respiratory problems.  

For kinds of lung related queries, go to the Messages section of your mobile. Go to the ‘Write Message’ option. Type LUNG and send it to 5676775.
